I have been a practicing attorney since 1998 and am licensed in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. I am also admitted to practice in the federal courts of the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, as well as in the federal District Court of New Jersey. My experience is broad and deep, in both civil and criminal matters, large and small.
In 1994, while working as a police officer for the New York City Police Department, I entered Brooklyn Law School, graduating cum laude in 1998. I received an Academic Achievement scholarship and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award.
In 2009, I retired from the NYPD with the rank of police captain and relocated to State College, Pennsylvania, home of my alma mater, Penn State University.
I specialize in assisting attorneys. Whether the issue is a defamation claim or a dispute over title defects in real property litigation, I have the knowledge, skill, and ability to assist you. From research and writing to arguing cases before the courts, I am a collaborative partner. In civil and criminal matters, I have represented clients in landlord/tenant matters, small breach of contract claims, traffic matters. I have argued appeals before appellate courts on a litany of complex legal matters.
Along with my practice here in central Pennsylvania, I also teach a wide variety of law classes to college students at a two-year college, South Hills School of Business & Technology. My students have gone on to open their own business, work in our hospitals and doctor’s offices, and serving their community as police officers, deputy sheriffs, and more. My students have shown me that there is a great desire to understand the law. I bring this desire into my legal practice.
Give me a call and let’s see if I can help you.
